The Extension Gallery accepts exhibitions on an individual basis; it often hosts exhibitions with short deadlines.
The Kamloops Arts Council's Galleries are available to members for exhibitions of their work. There is a $25 gallery fee upon signing of the gallery contract to cover such incidentals as painting the walls and replacing lights and bulbs. For those interested in exhibiting in the Gallery, the Council has set the following criteria:
* You MUST be a member of the Kamloops Arts Council to apply to have an
exhibition in the Gallery
* Exhibitions are approximately 25 days in length
* Artists are responsible for installing/hanging and striking their show.
* If an artist wishes to hold an opening, he or she can do so at their expense
and time.
* If artists wish the gallery to be open outside regular Kamloops Arts Council
hours, they must sit the exhibition themselves.
* A 15% commission will be collected from artists who sell work during their
exhibition.
The gallery is always taking booking requests from amateur and professional members. If you are interested in booking a show, please fill out the Gallery Request Form or contact the Kamloops Arts Council Office at 250-372-7323.
